Yeah, I saw that clip too, two weeks ago. No more for me now though

Wait, those were lies?!! Steven's mom isn't an apple farmer?!!!

Public service announcement for anyone who missed it:

Oh Baby Sour Cream. Apparently, you really can't teach chillness, but must be born into it. And also dat voice.

So the ending song… what's the prevailing fan theory about it? I've been guessing for a while that it's either going to turn out to be non-specific, or it will be Rose addressing Greg.

Hi! Welcome to the internet. It's a terrible place.

Yeah, Greg's a fucking trooper. That first episode with him really did not do him justice at all. He's a goddamn saint.

OH SNAP THAT MOMENT WITH THE FISHING TODAY!!!! I like this theory. Head canon'ed until proven otherwise

I've been guessing it's Rose addressing Greg. I think the last flashback showed that she didn't start to truly get the value of humans until Greg, and if her being Pink Diamond holds true that just backs up Rose hating herself even more.

You're not wrong?

Omg, that's fantastic. "I DISCOVERED WHAT "BEES" ARE." is the pinnacle of comedy, wrap it up everyone, we can go home now.

Fair enough. Granted, I watched the whole show in one week recently went it came to Hulu, so I knew how far it was from the end, and it felt appropriate, so my opinion may be blurred.

Thank you, a little validation!! My wife was teasing me the other day cause my parents dumped all our old VHSes off on us and we started going through them.

I mean, IRL meta answer is that it's whatever the hell they want it to be, and just put something there to tantalize us.

I think they're saving that for a big big battle

Did they though?

I mean, that is one of the mission statements of this show: there are no true villains in life, everyone can change. That line about flying stuck out to me too.

Jesus christ that's two nights in a row where the show has made me feel intensely uncomfortable, with a lingering sense of existential dread. I've been lucky enough to never have been in a toxic/abusive relationship like that, but for a moment the show made me feel like I had. It's like its Jessica Jones giving me

Team Jasper's blasting off agaaaaaaaaiiiiinnnnnn!!!!!!!!

Yeah, one of the rare situations where the whole "every episode must be happening to Steven" is a detriment
