I don't recall any past tense, and even if there was, there's been nothing explicit. That Welcome to Republic City game didn't reveal any age for her the way it did for Zuko, and the one time I saw a question addressed to the creators about it they acted pretty coy when answering. I think they only confirmed Zuko

It's good to see people very impassioned about this series (and the franchise as a whole), even very differing passions and opinions. I don't think I want to see Garrus' Forehead Thing however.

I kinda thought that was obvious from the get go. She says as much in Chapter 2 last book.

After the Not-Aang we got last book, I can pretty much accept it IF that was Ty-Lee. But I'd prefer if this show avoided the small world problem of constructed universes.

As long as she keeps approaching problem solving with her fists raised, this will probably be the type of antagonist we're going to see.

Every line was a winner, even though she didn't get anything meaningful to do, but be a love interest. Her brother does get even less though.

Seriously, too much Parks and Rec in your diet will make this a lucid experience. Since she's still playing the same type of character (she's pretty typecast now, not that she cares I bet), it might be easier to think of this as April Ludgate in another life. With a twin. A Hot Twin.

I still question what was up with the hair rustling. It came off as a big sis kind of gesture (which she would be if things went differently last book).

The kids definitely, think of the gap between the recording for Book 1 and Book 2. As for the Adults, there were moments when J.K. Simmons sounded like he was doing it differently, usually when Tenzin was flustered.

The statue room in ATLA would probably need to be thrown out of continuity because of the lack of Kiyoshi (even though she's in the NEXT episode), Kuruk, Yang-Chen, and other past Avatars.

Emily, Katara (or Zuko {or Toph}) dying is the exact type of thing I was contemplating since Book 1 ended. It would provide a strong emotional kick, AND draw in some of the people who have written Korra off. Plus, there's a joke in there somewhere about coming back just to be killed off.
I also was really hoping for

Which is a scene the writers prefer to ignore.

Does your campus only have the one good TV?

Candy Capers itself is something we'd never see on the show, considering how few episodes don't focus on Finn or Jake. Plus, the covers to the comics are the best. I verified it myself.

Carnival Kingdom (from Playing with Fire) would be the shit to live in.

Raggedy Princess will BE your Hambo. She's got, like, no self esteem (don't tell her I said that).

I'd buy one for all my friends.

And that's Terrible!

The Bible has to cover all the bases, amirite?

Anybody else think the writers measured the time someone falls in 10 seconds, then wrote the building he was on to be slightly taller than that? Or was the gargoyle to compensate?
