I agree with Scrawler and SouthofHeaven. I might even like this season even more than season 5, just because this season is just a fucking ride. I mean, from this point forward, you really are trapped in a ball of kick-ass plot momentum rolling downhill fast.

Personally, I'm just thankful that The First hasn't been turned into a gimmick poster; it makes me think that maybe this world isn't just a collection of inevitabilities!

After the way Lebron fucked over Cleveland last summer, I'd say about 59% of all NBA viewing has been hate motivated for me. So if Miami ends up winning this thing, I'm probably going evaporate into the sky in the midst of a fiery rage.

Do Not Touch Willie, Arrested Development certainly works under that role. However, I'd say that Modern Family could lose some of their talking heads to a positive comic effect, and I say that as someone who genuinely likes the show. I just can never love it because those talking heads are too often spoon feeding plot

Mouprabu, you fucking nailed it.

EVACUATE ALL THE SCHOOL CHILDREN!

Any show that has a documentary format (with the possible exception of the British Office) requires some suspension of disbelief when it comes to the camera crew's presence, and that's something I have no problem giving them.

A song so nice, I posted it twice!

Newman's best 4 minutes and 21 seconds.
First, this was a great interview, and Newman comes off like the musically savvy friendly uncle I've never had.

Woah, Zucko is voiced by Rufio? 20 years later and still playing a bad-ass teenager who starts off as an antagonist and gradually evolves into a semi-hero. Talk about your oddly specific typecasting.

It's a slow starter, but it grows on you. I don't know if I can think of a children's show that has a greater payoff as well; the series finale has a face-melting awesomeness to it not dissimilar to an open Ark of the Covenant.

Fuck my manhood, I'm just gonna say it.

My favorite exchange on youtube.

Sorry, got to disagree with you Audience Member, "I Will Possess Your Heart" stands as my favorite Deathcab track, with "Transatlanticism" running a close second. I don't know; I guess I'm just a fan of when Death Cab goes into sprawling-epic mode. That said, Grapevine Fires is fantastic.

Damn scrawler, simultaneous posts tracing Wesley's Connor kidnapping to Pylea? I feel like this might be one of those "one of us has to kill the other because their can only be one" situations.

phodreaw: exactly! Like even whenever she's expressing happiness it makes me cringe. I tend to think that MT just doesn't know how to underplay it, and so vocally she overdoes it every time.

Tristan, I understand where you're coming from, but my main problem with it is that they showed her dealing with her imminent death in the same generic ways that any other show that has a depressed teen. Her situation is unique, but that doesn't excuse showing her emotionally processing it with the same short-hand

Season 4 Wesley is cool. He is very, very cool. He keeps a woman in a cage in, his closet, has sexy sexy sex with evil people, has (mini-spoiler) motherfucking retractable swords up his sleeves, and is ten paces past giving a fuck.

I was also assuming she was off the books and that Wood was paying her out of pocket to keep a Slayer on hand.
