That's crazy talk. I'm a girl and it's one of my favourite films. Not to mention that I know guys (who clearly have no sense of humour) who don't like it, and plenty of girls who have seen it about twenty times.

It's my favourite of the Sookie Stackhouse books too, and those books are, excepting the last couple, great reads. The problem is that there isn't enough in each one of them for a whole season of TV, and then Alan Ball or whoever goes to town in messing with it, without, to a large extent, much consideration of the
