it sounds like to me it said "he was in contention, but took his name out of the running." Very different than turning down.

I'm sad to say that I didn't see any of these films.
NBC: We'd like to present to you "Comedy Night Done Right!"
Schedule:
8:00 PM The Slap
9:00 PM The Blacklist
10:00 PM Allegiance
Someone: But there's no comedies in that schedule.
NBC: It's ironic. Get it?
Oh, and I love the shout out to Chester A. Arthur. The power of mutton chops!
that's actually kind of what the movie's about.
If you think that's good, you should (if you havent already) read his open letter in the Hollywood Reporter.
He actually didnt direct that.
I don't think the ending rang false at all, as Rock's fiance was helping because that's her career. She basically says that in her monologue.
Yeah, it's still very enjoyable. The movie really isnt about music at all, and anything it brings up is brought up with context to understand it.
This didnt really feel like a review. The main complaint seems to be that it was odd that everything happened in one day. Maybe its because I usually read AV Club's TV reviews but this review had barely anything in it.
Dre and Rainbow are such a well defined couple and their relationship drives the show. They both have different approaches to raising their kids and both have differing views when it comes to race and gender. And it influence their interactions and how the show approaches race.
There's a lot of separate parts that were great and hilarious, like the cops, the Cosby stuff, and Michael Jackson jokes (allegedly)! But the overall thrust the episode is so boring that's hard to really like it. I like how all the plot points such as Lorde and Trendsgender were all included, but the ending really…
I don't think you are supposed to like him. He's a villain. It's great how the audience feels betrayed, just like Skye.
The difference is Trip was established member of the team. One of the recurring protagonists. Agent Hand was an ally, but not a member of Coulson's team.
I think Trip is the first to die as part of the main team. Idaho and Hartley died but they were basically created to die as evidenced by dying in their first appearance.
You'd have to blame Ed Brubaker and Steve Epting too, although Bucky is the epitome of awesome.
I think they indicated so by the phone call that he still cares about Jess. That's why he didnt hang up. I didnt mean a romantic caring for each other, but more like they are willing to go to extraordinary lengths for each other. That's the bond they have, and that's why they still live with each other and are great…
Yeah I guess it is. Jess doesnt strike me as someone who cares about wealth, and it's been previously been indicated otherwise. I guess you can infer she was also intimated by them being British but I dont think that was presented in the episode.
Thawne in the Return of Barry Allen get his powers by recreating Barry's accident. Unless this has changed in the New 52, this is the origin I know. Hunter Zolomon gets his super speed through time manipulation.
