Shit, ok. Well, I'll give her an advanced nerd alert and hand her some ear plugs. "Don't ask sugar pie, just put these in your ears. Trust me."

This might be a dumb question but do I need to use a mic to properly do a raid or is it intuitive enough?

That sounds like the plot of Footloose!

Holy shit I'm in. PSN miltthefish

HBO exec: "Our choice for Moqorro is either casting a fat black man like in the books, or a large breasted woman, like on HBO."

I wish I could say that was a deliberate joke but it wasn't. You get full credit for it because Melisandre of Course is actually pretty funny.

There are a few Red Priests/Priestesses. There's Melisandre of course and Thoros of Myr. Then there is another one who rolls with Victarion on some ship if I'm not mistaken. In the books it's a black dude from the Summer Isles (I think) but maybe they are casting a female instead for parity.

Temperature-wise of course, not looks. They serve Rhallor the Lord of Light and Heart of Fire after all and must therefore have a low grade fever at all times.

Yes, that's it. I can't imagine the average reader would enjoy it, but if you like sci-fi, and you like it somewhat dark, it's close to being a must-read series.

As luck would have it, I read both Dune and Hyperion this past summer and enjoyed both of them quite a bit.

He would begin that game as a child and emerge as a man.

I am not generally a fan of FPS or multiplayer games but The Taken King is fantastic. I tried the demo and after about 2 hours purchased the full game. You don't need to play with others - most of the content can be done solo. The deathmatch stuff is PvP and is totally optional.

Mass Effect 2 did the same for me. I loved ME1 - played it through twice - but after playing the streamlined masterpiece that is ME2 I can't imagine ever playing it again. Dear Jesus the endless weapon mods clogging my inventory were enough to drive me to drink.

Ya, I've heard it's a cross between Deus Ex and Bioshock. Sold!

My playthrough of the Witcher 3 is finally winding down - just back from the Isle of Mist. Overall it's been a tremendous experience but I'm kind of looking forward to something else.

If I had a nickel for every time….

Some of my fondest gaming memories are from playing Metal Gear Solid on summer holidays on the PS1. It, along with its PS1 contemporaries FFVII and Resident Evil, will be permanently etched in my brain as "next generation" games. Unless you are of an age you won't fully grasp what that means but at the time the jump

Hey Silverchair was not a one hit wonder - they had two hits!
