It's the newer seasons that turned me off. That's when the Family Guy comparisons, to me, started to be more valid. A bunch of psychopaths with little to no continuity of character is the problem both shows hold. I don't get the adulation, to be honest.

This coming from a guy who hates comics that aren't "truthfull". I like Marc but I still take what he says with a boulder of salt.

I honestly didn't notice him much. His chuckles are always a delight but I don't think the movie really grabbed him, one way or the other.

Libertarians are scum. Don't bother with him.

Scientists are usually anti-union?

Quantum is a much better name though. I know it's fan service and all, but they could've brought in Blofeld without bringing up Spectre.

He could've been a Bond in another timeline.

If the continuity was done well, then I'd be on board. But Skyfall was such clusterfuck in that regard, that any interest I had in that contunity is gone. I couldn't be less excited for whatever mess this will turn out to be.

New guys, who are actually the old guys that fucked up Bond so royally during the Brosnan era.

Kind of. It was fine, but it's not something I ever find myself going back to. It was just so stupid.

What if the directors oractors are screenwriters as well? Would they still be able to contribute in a similar scenario. I find all these guild rules and regulations fascinating.

To be fair, it's something Flemming definitely would have written if he had more time.

I'd say not in the same league as Casino Royale. Skyfall is a movie that goes down easily but there's nothing of any substance there. Better put together than Quantum but equally as dumb and hollow.

Or maybe that suspicion of the police is well justified and we shouldn't really be looking at them as loveable and basically harmless oafs?

Ya this is essentially a corporate subsidy. That's what really pisses me off about this.

They probably burnt all their capital with the studio on Beer Fest. That film bombed at the box office and wasn't the same kind of hit on home video that Super Troopers was. Seems like a pretty simple cost/benefit analysis deterimed that it wasn't worth it to the studio invest in these guys again. You'd hope one

Or something.

I still wish Williams had been given the job. I know she apparently didn't want it, but if they were promoting from within, she seemed like the only viable candidate

He just should've bailed on the character like Matt Walsh does when it's obviously not working. I know Sanz seems more committed in that way, but it would've really saved the episode.
