It's why friends of mine are always switching their IP back and forth between American and Canadian, because each has stuff the other doesn't have.

I played Rugby, Soccer and football in highschool. I've had 5 concussions, a herniated disc and a bum knee as a result of playing these sports. Whatever skills or character attributes I gained from these sports pale in comparison to the challenges I've faced as a direct result of them. And the thing is, all those…
The sad part is, out of the nominees he clearly should have won. Hell, Whitaker wasn't even the lead actor in The Last King of Scotland. I know this my third post deriding O'Toole's loss to Whitaker but it just absolutely confounds me.
I don't know Whitaker winning over him in what 2007 was horrendous on the Academy's part. It wouldn't even have been a sympathy Oscar either, his performance in Venus is that of a master.
Losing to an overacting Whitaker probably comes at least a close second.
I'm going to do the most hipstery thing in the world but I'm so glad I found it back over 10 years ago.
Jesus Christ, that's fucking horrible. Fucking hell.
That's one of the trolliest things I've ever heard, but i can't judge, I've probably said worse.
Because people hated the music and drama geeks. It's really not that hard to understand.
Well it depends on your definition of wholesome I guess. The Muppets weren't necessarily "wholesome" in their day either. But what makes Gaga unwholesome exactly and how is it incompatible with the Muppets?
It's certainly one of the least novel things to do considering it's been done a million times at this point but because it's Gaga it's going to be deemed one of the most subversive things done in the history of the universe.
Seriously kid, you need to check out more music if you honestly think Gaga is "one of the most innovative and creative songwriters ever". I understand being a fan but you sound delusional.
I did that to a few friends with Kill List. I told them to check it out, they looked it up on wikipedia, just read the brief synopsis not the plot summary, checked the decent rotten tomatoes rating then decided to give the film a shot. Some of my my friends have still not forgiven me. It please me to no end.
Around here it seems to be. I know I loved it and I've seen that sentiment repeated quite frequently around here whenever Spike's name comes up.
Some anime stuff has had good dubs. I know that's animation and not live action, but it's still possible.
That's true, but it's still an initial and understandable barrier for most people. And it's also not something that's all that easy to reacquire if you've stopped watching subtitles for quite some time, you have to go back through that orienting process. So I totally understand why people would rather watch a movie…
My mom hated subtitled movies, then again one of her favorite films ended up being Chungking Express, so go figure.
To be fair, the Departed was really an amalgam of the entire trilogy.
Which makes you the ultimate hipster!!!!!
Thankful of being entitled?
