@avclub-1b9a80606d74d3da6db2f1274557e644:disqus Pretty much exactly. I'd be completely surprised if Del Toro made a movie, huge studio production or not without infusing it with his pet themes. Which could make an Eva film, completely pointless. But why are people clammoring for an Eva film? I though the Akira movie

@mjlogue33:disqus Almost everyone of those performances would've been better off served by another actor (with the exception of possibly Magnolia). He's passable, especially when he plays to his strengths (which he rarely does).

And no I don't worship Alec Baldwin like a God. I Stayed away from 30 rock until this year, precisely because I found it hard to watch Baldwin. Trust me, I'm not going to rush out and watch any of his other stuff any time soon.

It's more, he's always been unlikeable on screen, I've always felt him less than credible as the 'hero' he is often cast. And when he went all Loony Tunes, it just made that it harder and harder to buy him as the 'hero' that he insists on casting himself as.

@mjlogue33:disqus Most people don't like him because of his 'presence'. He just exudes are certain unlikeability that makes him totally inappropriate in the stuff he usually chooses to do.
