"In Scotland, New Year's is called Hogmanay. And it is a time when people who can inspire awe in the IRISH for the amount of ALCOHOL that they drink decide to RAMP IT UP a notch." - Craig Ferguson

Finally Regis and Larry King retired. Dick Clark, John McCain (and all the other old, grumpy politicians), just go home, count your money, and enjoy your remaining years. Please. And Happy New Year.
Well, I admit I've only seen the pilot back when that all that was available. I think it's nice he created a project for Warrick.
I think Life's Too Short is at least as good as Extras. I thought it was really funny. Saying 2 Broke Girls even approaches it is a low blow.
Think about how he brought us the Kardashians and that twinge will disappear.
But if you love film, how can you praise "a movie that completely derails its own potential narrative"?
I have never agreed with every single word sarCCastro has said…(dum dum DUMMMM!)…until today!
(No, I think I have.)
You are the mirror image of me. I absolutely cannot make it through Gangs of New York no matter how many chances I give it, and The Departed was not my kind of story. You "haven't made it through" any of his best films. I adore Kubrick. Diff'rent strokes to move the world.
I agree with Tasha, and I DID see it, in 3D, because one of you promised it was magical. I should have trusted my instincts.
I'm really surprised. Hugo and The Departed are almost the only Scorcese films I don't like.
That's the difference. I haven't seen Iron Giant since it came out, but as soon as you mentioned it, the emotion came flooding back immediately, even though I would have to think for a moment to recall the premise. As for Hugo, I felt no affection at all.
That's not true. I occasionally wanted to watch during the Bush (Elder and Younger) years but couldn't bear it.
Oh the horror, it took a few hours for it to dawn on me what this meant.
That's the second time I've read loganberries. They're lingonberries!
And this part wasn't even true:
Money.
The beginning wasn't dragging, but it did seem we weren't getting anywhere soon enough for the movie to end in two hours, it seemed more like the pace for a mini-series,
As a woman I didn't find it graphic, especially compared to the hype.
Since you're curious, I saw this version without first seeing the Swedish movies or reading the books, and unfortunately it was pretty plain to see right away that it was Stellan Skarsgård's character, partly because it was cast with Stellan Skarsgård and also because he was going out of his way to be helpful.
Add more Naziness.
