I found my old copy of 'Stinger' by Robert McCammon and started into that. This book (now out of print for some reason) scared the piss out of me when I was younger.  Also picked up a bunch of Sherlock Holmes stories and damn, they are pretty good.

I saw Puscifer at the Paramount in Asbury Park.  A fucking phenomenal show in an absolutely gorgeous venue.

I don't know much about today's genre fiction but I loved the hell out of 'World War Z'.  Great book, enough so that even if this is a total, mostly failed rip-off, I'd still pick it up and give it a read.

I know very little about Eno but his notion behind making 'Music for Airports' (literally music that would be played in airports to make them less frustrating and annoying) is pretty damn cool.
