Put the Harrison Ford narration from "Blade Runner" over the director's cut of "Prometheus". BAM! Pure sci-fi gold!

Yeah, reading the review and seeing some of the positive feedback from others, I had hope for this despite the fact that it looked like a joke from the trailers. But once Tasha came out and basically said there's some massive stupidity going on behind all the pretty flashing lights I lost some hope. I'll still see…

Neither francise has much to do with each other so the comparison is pointless. Having said that:

The only thing that made this trailer more pretentious than Leonardo DiCaprio was… Jaime Foxx. I like a good amount of work he does ('Collateral' especially) but this looks like it might just have him go straight over the top. Smith would be worse (if there is such a thing) and while Elba would probably get a best…

They look fine on certain people and body types but they are a bit garish. I have a male friend who insists red jeans (non-skinny) are all the rage. It might have a point because walking around New York, you certainly see a fair amount of them.

I'm a pretty big Civil War buff myself but I don't think I've ever seen any program, show or movie cover it where it really wasn't just a bunch of generic period sets and characters. If there was some cosmic/alien/zombie film that re-imagined Antietam or The Battle of the Wilderness, I'd be all in.

7th grade sort of sucked but 8th grade was some of the most fun I've ever had. For me it was a time where you began to experience so many new things, girls, music, etc. but there was still an innocence in being a 12 or 13 year old kid.

That does sound awful. I was lucky in that I could float between all the different cliques and make friends with just about anybody, yet I was fortunate enough to have 2 or 3 people that I was close with like brothers. I learned more about myself from them than I have with just about any other person I've meet…
