I always figured he'd eventually play a show in Lakewood, NJ.  Maybe at the Strand.

I gave up only a few episodes in but somehow started watching again once Richard came into the picture.  Best character on tv.  I really need to go back and just start again from the beginning.

'Proving God'

Rape Stove vs. Bionic Shark: Death Shall Come to One.

I watched an episode a week or two back.  I've only seen a handful of episodes so I know fuck-all about plot lines and characters.  Serious question: was that 'Solo Cup' song real or something they made up for the show?  I thought it was pretty clever and sort of charming in its own way.

I'm not familiar with the genre but those are three good tracks, especially the first one.  They all have a similarity to early, more melodic drum and base, sort of like some of LTJ Bukem.

Not in our hearts, ElDan.  Not in our hearts.

I have a feeling this one might get deleated.

'Motion Picture Soundtrack' sort of screams for a movie version.

Hey Burl, what's up?

J. Edgar

That's the way The Man wants you to feel.  Fuck their cracker-ass bullshit award system.  Stay Black and stay proud.

Mario 64 and GodlenEye took up an inordinate amount of my college years.  Nothing is better than a wonderful, stoned couple of hours racing around shooting shells at at other players.  Some of those races were so tense I probably took ten years off my life from game induced stress alone.

For what it's worth (and coming from me, that means almost nothing but I've been on a decent amount of movie/tv sets) most people wanting to get in to the film industry, at any level and at any aspect, are better off just throwing themselves into the unloved, disreguarded title of some sort of PA job.  You learn on

He comes across pretty normal in the DVD commentaries and I've never heard any stories of him being an asshole.  And those ideas sound pretty fucking cool to me.  Give the dude a couple million and let him make his movie.

Yeah, I kind of agree.  It's interesting to see deleated scenes from one of the greatest American films of all time but they were definitely cut for a reason.  They take a long, bizarre film and bog it down.

'Primer'

That film does have a great backstory.  From what I remember, the cast had no contact with the directors or other crew.  Each day a vague story outline and script was dropped off on set and the actors had to basically improvise each scene.  People often complain about the acting but I think it's remarkable considering

I sort of agree that he really isn't the great actor that most people think of him as.  He seems to operate on the notion that he can be as obnoxious and over the top, both on set and off, and whatever he does will be assumed as good 'acting'.  I don't deny that he has so much talent and a wonderful, charismatic

Ah, sweet, sweet manwater.
