I really liked it, too.  All three leads are fantastic, especially in how they portray failing health.  But good god damn is it depressing.

I'm sort of obsessed with 'Pumped Up Kicks'.  Such a dark song to be played all over the radio.

She used to be someone that I had this completely irrational dislike, despite not really having seen her in any films.  I also had no idea why everyone thought she was such a sex symbol.  I've sort of changed my mind over the years.  I really liked her in 'Never Let Me Go' and at times she can be stunningly beautiful.

I'm not a huge fan of most of the music that gets played on the radio but generally I like what I hear from Rihanna.  I wouldn't ever spend a dime on one of her albums but what gets stuck in my head is ok.  And boy oh boy is she cuuuuuute.  I have such a crush on her.

PBS still keeps the simple format.  Jacques Pepin has been the same (and great) for years and America's Test Kitchen is one of my favorite programs on tv.

I really do like Bourdain and really dislike Rachel Ray.  But so much of his arguments and vitrio against the Food Network personalities are misplaced.

Hey, I've eaten at all of your NYC restaurants and have enjoyed each of the experiences (open Bolo back up.  It was your best and probably the only thing that actually gave you credibility.)  Can I ask you to do me a favor?   I mean, not like a favor for someone who has patronized your establisments but simply a lowly

I couldn't have expressed it better.  I love cooking at home and adore taking the occasional splurge to a very high end place.  Since I was a kid, I have wanted to bring some sort of high end restaurant to my home town but Bourdain smashes those dreams away in the book.  I'm not as nieve as most of whom I think he's

I suppose you can categorize 'Reality TV' as having some tangible event with prizes or just watching people do really dumb shit simply for the public's amuesment.  Bourdain's shows seem to embrace the latter part while successfully skirting the worst of genre.

I saw a blimp once.

As a sort of side note, he really should do some sort of actual cooking program.  The Travel Channel presents his show as something fairly low-key and off the cuff.  I know he'd probably slap me for saying so, but he should do a program in the simple style of old Food Network or PBS.

Cool dude.  What makes me respect him the most is that he honestly calls himself a cook rather than a chef and that's right. Although he is classically trained and has worked at numerous high end restaurants, his bread and butter has always been serving glorified steak frites at Les Halles.  He openly acknowledges

@EBuzzMiller:disqus Just let it go.  Nothing is ever going to be perfect on internet boards.  Giving up on what is one of the best communities is only self defeating.  99.9 percent of what's posted on here is either amusing or informative.  If certain people want to entertain some sort of personal battle, let them

How about 'Transformers'?   And I'll add all the revamped Batman films, too.

I find this information about these "Japanese" you speak of strange and unsettling.  I believe drastic measures are in order.

I remember watching The Saint in college, completely stoned, and really liking it.  It happened to be on the other day and my god are the "disguises" laughably bad, but it's still sort of a dumb, entertaining movie.  I think why I initially liked it was because in the film, Simon Templar uses all his special tricks

Each and every one of you here is soleless.

Wow.  I'm not sure if the act of prostitution turned your 12 year old libdo on or if you just knew you'd be a terminal alcoholic at some point but well done at any rate.

A bit late to the party but re-reading the King article Tasha linked to above reminded me that the best way to approach him is with the short stories.  He's written a ton, most of them excellent and if you don't like one, you can move on to the next.  I haven't read Under the Dome but considering its size and the fact
