I did retire it, in favor of the word LITTrally.

Okay.  Never seen this, now I want to.

I had mono in 6th grade which was wonderful for my reputation - it was "the kissing disease" and there was no fucking way I was going to tell people I hadn't kissed anyone yet.

And I'll say it again (I try to do this with every F&G review but have failed that):  The Weirs are the best parents in the history of tv.

I'm rewatching West Wing lately, because thank god for netflix and a lax systems department here at "work"…
And though sometimes it's a little too strident, I never bought the charge that Sorkin is that one-sided - he DOES bring in opposing viewpoints, and they're not always shot down effortlessly by the good guys.
Oh,

— and he can do this via a Gilbert and Sullivan song!

That might not be what makes you a sexist pig - perhaps you were before.
I've never seen the show but your comment has me intrigued.  Still - the logo in the photo above makes me think it's a drama about Harry Knowles…

Cool - nice to know someone here remembers Nichols…  And it's one of those waits that I'm pretty sure will be worth it.  I only saw the show (as did anyone who saw it) in 1971, and have seen blurry clips on youtube or somesuch…  But I remember it as clever and lowkey, like Garner himself, and man oh man was Margot

Be fun if some of these were sitcoms, because…  Cousin Oliver, Urkel, Chachi….

I never saw all of Lost, but was Ben Linus the one who first introduced himself as Henry Gale?  that was clever, I thought:  the guy uses the name of Dorothy's uncle after arriving in a strange world by air travel.

"untold numbers of Corey Feldmen"  - That elevated this article from funny to damn funny, O'Neal.  And it was in the first paragraph…

This really is a great movie and I haven't seen it in years.  Nice.  I'd forgotten that Robert Stack is in it- he sure could play different pilots!

Jeez.  There goes journalistic accuracy.  At least they can retcon their mistakes I guess.  I mean, I don't like the original NIN version much, and in fact have hardly heard it, but I know for a fact it's theirs to start with.  Hell, my daughter has NEVER heard the original but she knows.
Which is why, I guess, neither

I do like the ad with the proximity-following feature, though.  It gives up on Waltz and goes the other way to dog a closer pedestrian.

This looks good, if only for the (to me) unique sight of Christoph Waltz seeming unsure of himself..

Oh, I think Gilliam had enough rain on the Don Quixote set.  Umbrellas-and-no-rain is his way of saying fuck off, nature.

It's Gilliam, so I'm inclined to be forgiving and say, yes, it's a fine future name.  I mean, it's no Cypher Raige…

[and…. this comment was supposed to be in reply to something about Paley and Sherwood Schwartz and Gilligan's Island — which I'm SURE I saw here somewhere…]

There was a Maverick episode parodying Gunsmoke, and it was pretty funny.  There was a gunfight scene (similar to the one in the opening credits of Gunsmoke) where both participants were too far out of range for pistol accuracy, so Bret Maverick just stood there, mentioned that fact, and walked away.

Man Who Would Be King, mentioned elsewhere here, Robin and Marian (ditto) and The Wind and the Lion are all damn good movies. He's done some bad movies (hell, he did some bad Bonds..) but it's not like he went the straight-to-video route.
