But — his head is full of tourists!

Five?  No, it can't be done.

Aww.  I was hoping for a gritty reboot:  Where in the Hell is Carmen Sandiego.

Any guesses or hopes for movies on this week's topic?  I have an irrational fondness for The Sentinel, because it has a scary, revelatory moment right in the middle, not at the end.
Plus, you know.   Circus freaks.  And lest you think I'm dissing Kiefer Sutherland's looks — DIFFERENT The Sentinel movie….

Come on, guys:  What Lies Beneath the Planet of the Apes.

Wow. This is kind of exciting.   I'd never even heard of this before.  Thanks, Mike!

I've tried this, and believe me, all a tank of nitrous does to snails is make them giggle uncontrollably.   Pretty embarrassing to enter THAT in a race.

But a giraffe can't be quarterback.  You can't call signals with no vocal chords.

If it's really successful, a sequel:  "No Wait, Thirteen!"

.. and a user name that evokes…. I just don't know.

I'm shocked because I thought McQueen was white, and dead since 1980.

This looks really good.  Although.. it does make me wish that someone would make a movie of Charles Johnson's novel Middle Passage.
It also makes me wish everyone in the world had seen the James Garner/Lou Gossett movie Skin Game.

^ Perfect, Douay.

Huey is absolutely right.  Also, he is awesome, as is noted elsewhere in these comments, and also — he always was.  So there.

They're against oil protests now?  Man, prison sure can change people.

Don't be too hard on Marah (who at the very least has the same name as one of my favorite bands).  I don't think she's stating anything too controversial - — Self-Portrait is still regarded as his worst of that period. Not by me, exactly..I agree that it's better than generally thought, but… but it's the one I don't

One thing it's hard for some people to get is… at one time Bob Dylan was one of the most famous people in the world; and for people of a certain age, THE most famous.  A lot of what he did during the 60s and even into the 70s (The '65 Newport Folk Festival, Nashville Skyline, Dylan's seclusion after his motorcycle

What I get from reading this is that Ben Affleck will be making a movie of Dennis Lehane's Live By Night, and that could be a very good thing.
Or it could be a total bomb - the age spans of the main characters in the novel won't be easy to get on film, but…. I'll see it unless it gets a C minus on AVC.  Deal?

"Norma Rae".

Well… I really really don't like his acting.   He's not Keanu bad, but he's bad.  That said, I did see that Ghost Protocol thing on a plane, and it was actually really good —- though I'd consider that more due to Brad Bird than to Cruise.
