Never having watched the show until this year, I wouldn't have expected it to be so entertaining as it is. But I'm not sure regular reviews wouldn't get repetitive and pointless very, very quickly.

I always took romantic fatalism as the whole point of the movie. Kaufman takes a fantastic route to suggest the truth of most relationships. You enter into one having all these hopes when, really, the odds are against it working out.
Maybe not quite a direct response, but wouldn't it be interesting to see alternate universe versions of both movies in which Gondry had directed BJM and Jonze ESOTSM?
