The Master for me was a lot like the first season of Boardwalk Empire. A bunch of fantastic actors doing their best work in front of the most gorgeous scenery imaginable, but there just wasn't enough engaging storytelling to back it up. I love PTA and didn't by any means hate the movie, I just found the film as a

90's Winona Ryder is almost an untouchable level of hotness.

I don't lump Frank Ocean in with these guys. I recognize they may be individually talented but with Tyler especially, the shock value shtick is growing extremely tired

That why I said almost. My biggest complaint was how they made Abu Nazir look some sort of Al Quieda Wile E. Coyote in the back half of the season. The entire story with him coming to Virginia and then tunnels and everything was just so implauasable and stupid. It just made the character seem completely unbelievable

Idk, I think it makes much more sense that Nazir would frame him and release the tape as payback for Brody working with the CIA. Also, why would Brody have said "Look someone moved my car"? If he hadn't said that, Carrie never would have had any idea that it was the bomb. Why would he want to draw attention to that?

As bad as the back half of this season has been, the finale almost completely redeemed it. Just a really great, exciting hour of televions.

If they want to adapt Multiplicity into a sitcom starring Micheal Keaton I'm completely on board for 6 seasons and a sequel.
