Fuck location proxies that never, ever seem to work like they're meant to. I need to see this:(

I was so curious about that I was about to post before reading the article. Fifty ideas! Fifty!

the 'like' is a virtual hug for heartbreakingness. but then again, if the 30 rock soundtrack i only just discovered exists has 'werewolf bar mitzvah' on it…

No. The correct answer is obviously: :

I miss web 1.0 and could totally get behind this development.

NO CAN DO

But haven't you seen Pom Poko? Raccoons are people. Which actually makes it even creepier, now that I think about it.

THAT VIDEO IS AMAZING. When he talks about how he noticed the bear getting tears in its eyes…I had so many feelings at once.

'The Linda McCartney Story' might float your boat, if you've not seen it already? I only remember it dimly, but there was some great stuff in there - Beatle fights with an amazing/awful, hammy ersatz John, Paul's week-long Japanese prison hell, etc. But the whole dying-of-cancer framing device is kind of a downer:(

I just looked it up - the firefox add-on version, anyway - the reviews there say it used to work great, but in the last few months it's turned into a adware/malware delivery tool? Which scared me off, but I'd love to hear about something more benign along those lines.

no mention yet of the rave version?
It was a pretty big hit in the UK at the time, possibly bigger than the original…but then the copyright lawyers were unleashed and things got messy. So the 'clean' second version had to lose the actual tune; this was the somewhat dodgy result.

Didn't want to downvote you, but I'm a sucker for evocative pianos so I wanted to defend 'Captain of her Heart', even if it's not quite on a level with 'Walking In Memphis' Totally get the association though.
