"And boom goes the dynamite."
"And boom goes the dynamite."
Yeah, it wasn't the best "Road to" episode (my personal favorite is still "Road to the Multiverse"), but at least it ended the season on a decent note…that is, until "No Country Club" came in and fucked it up.
Eh, "Yug Ylimaf" was decent at best, but I wouldn't call it good. The whole reversal-of-time effect brought on by Stewie's time machine didn't work for me. It would've been funnier if the characters had been talking backwards with subtitles instead of in real time when they were moving in reverse.
Best Episode: "Brian's Play" - One of the very few FG episodes that actually struck a chord with me. Stewie's dialogue to Brian was just brilliant.
I can't agree more. I miss AD so much, and it's only been a week. I'm usually not this upset when a show is done for a season, but this past season of American Dad has just been so good. Four months already feels like forever.
I'm really gonna miss that show. It never stood a fucking chance, but it had its good episodes. R.I.P.
Yeah, but this time, it felt a little more desperate.
Worst cutaway of the night: The Jewish magician, hands down. That was probably a new unfunny low for FG.
"Brian's Play" and "Roads to Vegas" were, by far, the best episodes of the season, but compared to the rest of this terrible season, that's not really saying a lot. At this point, any episodes that revolve around Brian and Stewie are the only ones worth watching. "No Country Club" was just a predictable fucking bore…
Even The Simpsons knows it shouldn't be on the air anymore. Bart said it himself.
Yeah, I agree. This was a C+ season. Not "Family Guy" bad, but still pretty fucking bad in its own way. This was a decent season finale at best. But honestly, did anyone expect anything better?
I noticed that too. Kanye's performances were a fucking joke. I was laughing through them till the very end. At least the kick-ass Fred Armisen rock song at the end made up for it. It was…surprisingly moving.
This was a pretty good finale. Kanye was terrible, as always, but Ben was pretty funny. The Stefon bit at the end of Weekend Update had me in tears though. So unexpected and hilarious.
This episode only further proves that Kanye is the most egocentric douchebag rapper in the world. But we already knew that.
Damn it, September 29, why can't you come sooner?!
I'll admit, those were both pretty great gags.
Or "MacFarlanish?"
Yeah, I see your point. But I don't think anyone can argue that Nickelback sucks worse than an octogenarian prostitute.
Sometimes they even try to squeeze in an abortion joke in between the anti-feminist and Nazi jokes to catch viewers off guard.
It was a very, very episode of Family Guy.
