Aw man, now you got me all teary-eyed. Why'd he have to go so soon?

This. All of this.

So just because Stan wasn't in this episode, that automatically makes it a "crap" episode for you.

With the presences of both Asa Butterfield and Ben Kingsley, this movie could easily be re-titled "Hugo's Game."

Oh, look. It's Hailee Steinfeld, that girl from True Grit who we all just seemed to forget about after she was nominated for an Oscar two years ago. She's back. Yay?

What about American Dad? That show and Bob's Burgers are the only two worth seeing on Sunday nights anymore.

Just about every fucking cutaway on Family Guy these days is horribly, horribly lazy.

One more observation to throw out here. I'm just curious as to why the animators decided to give Foster (the alien in the picture above) big yellow lips. I don't know, it just seems a bit weird seeing as how he stands out like a sore thumb for no particular reason. Maybe I just observe too much.

Way to be a Negative Nancy.

That "Shooting Star" episode made me wanna gouge my eyes out, it was so fucking bad. Glee is a helluva lot worse than The Simpsons, that's for sure.

Exactly. This is probably gonna be an episode that'll end up dividing most viewers like "Blood Crieth Unto Heaven" did. It's a serious plot full of infrequently funny moments and brilliantly insane ambition. And man, did it pay off. It's episodes like this that really set American Dad apart from the rest of the crop.

One of the best sequences in American Dad history. Practically had me in tears the first time I saw it.

I guess we'll just have to wait 'til next season, won't we?

Yes, yes, and HELL YES to all three of those observations.

I just love how the episode ends with no clear conclusion for Jeff.

Sinbad was used surprisingly well in this episode.

Certainly one of the most ambitious episodes American Dad has ever pulled off. Was it perfect? No. But damn it, it worked. No other show could pull off an epic musical number featuring a morbidly obese alien with a Randy Newman-esque voice singing Wax Fang's "Majestic" to a desperate hippy stoner who wants nothing

"You're drunk, Toby."

He definitely wasn't a bad character. Not at all. And yes, he did have his moments. But it would've been nice if he stayed a more prominent character throughout the series. Not to the level of Moe, but still, he at least deserved a little more recognition. I don't know, that's just me. Sooner or later, I knew the

The writers are just doing it for the money now. Hardly any creativity is put into these new episodes. Just bland, forgettable cutaways that leave a bad taste in the mouth. I couldn't help but roll my eyes at the Chris Brown gag. Then again, I'm not surprised. This is Family Guy after all.
