I used to be anti-Tim & Eric, but a string of "Child Clown Outlet" clips and Dr. Steve Brule made a convert out of me.

Scotland, PA is my second-favorite Shakespeare reboot, after Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead. Haven't seen Polanski's Macbeth, but want to.
Don't have much to add, other than that I'm another in the anti-Hicks camp. "Suck Satan's cock!" Ugh. I too looked into him based on the recommendations of others, I too am mystified by the reverence with which some people treat him.
311. Blerrrgh.
One can appreciate parody, satire, and ball-related puns equally, I believe.
It had its moments, but the dancing-down-the-aisle was way over the top.
They are going to show up guns-a-blazin' (metaphorically. Probably.) in two weeks. Then Richard and Ben are going to die (not a spoiler, speculation); Miles will survive. Hunch.
With regards to Bernard's appearance in this episode: I am with Noel in that Bernard knows more than he's letting on. It may be because I so badly want it to be proven that Rose and Bernard are important, but he had a definite twinkle in his eye / tone to his voice that made me think that he knows what's up.
Mexican Blade Runner - I agree that they wouldn't have given Locke flying credentials in the Alt-verse unless they were going to be in some way useful to someone(s) in the original timeline - whether his skills are to be used for good or otherwise is still up for debate.
Alia is most definitely creepy, but I'd give the edge to Leto II and Ghanima, if only for their "channeling" of their dead parents. (Yes, technically it took place when they were nine, not babies, but whatev.)
The giant flying babies in Drakengard are TERRIFYING. I'd forgotten all about that game; I was happy to have forgotten all about that game.
Yeah, I'd say Otik should count.
The only reason I say that the cancer is an important point is because of the ailments the island has cured / caused in the past - Locke's paralysis and Ben's cancer, respectively. It could be nothing as it isn't based off of much, but it seems to me that the island wants Rose around.
Having just finished Dune yesterday, I enjoyed that, Poofish Stuffo.
I have held since the beginning of this season that Rose and Bernard are going to pop up again, maybe in a big way. I find it hard to believe, despite their claims that they won't get involved, that they'll just be living in the jungle 'til the war is over. They're the only people on the island right now who aren't…
And/or ka-kow!
@ Hamburgers: I remember waiting for Cable Preview weekends solely so I could watch the Disney channel; more specifically so I could watch the Gummi Bears.
July, 1989. To put that in pop-cultural perspective, I was eight when Buffy's first season aired. Good to see a wide range of ages here, though I'm not in any way surprised that it skews lower - we next generation of nerds do have remarkable technological prowess.
@Blaffair: That's what I hoped was going to happen. It was kind of cool to see how the statue was destroyed, but I would have loved to see the island pop up right underneath them.
Of all my LOST-related reading, I've never seen that "heel of the foot" tidbit. Neat.
