I'm with you @avclub-f846be22d6c4a2d01b5092c333c25d55:disqus , I really liked this one.  There were comments comparing it to the Omen above - I actually found it very refreshing that the take on Kevin is that he wasn't possessed by a demon or some other derivative nonsense; there's a more legit, natural explanation

I had a tough time tracking down Dead Man's Shoes, I hope you keep at it!  The copy I watched wasn't the greatest quality, which probably contributed to me not enjoying it as much as I could have.

No, I expect you to die and be a very cheap funeral.  You're gonna die now!

Agreed, Michael Shannon killed it in Take Shelter.  The rest of the movie dragged out in parts a bit too much for me but I'm always happy to hear other people check it out.  The dream sequences were fantastic.

Is this your first time watching the Wire?  I'm assuming so since you can't recall McNulty's partner's name (the Bunk!)  I'm rewatching it now for the first time in a couple of years and am a couple eps behind you.  You're in for a treat!

Nice.  Donnie Darko is one of my all-time faves.  Required viewing around Hallowe'en at the Mysterion household.

Last week's issue of Rolling Stone finally arrived here in Canada so I bought one for the first time since…ever.  I'm a huge Against Me! fan and was really interested in reading the Tommy Gabel story.  I knew absolutely nothing about transgender dysphoria so the article was very educational and entertaining.  Also a

Yeah, this just ruined my day.  Carnivale is possibly my all-time favorite show and Stahl was great in Sin City too.  Hope he's ok.

I'm actually pretty ecstatic Community's starting up again in September instead of mid-season, which was definitely an option given the 13-show order.  This way we get the Halloween and Xmas episodes.
