Well would you rather him say "I hate you and all of your stupid cultural customs". What I was trying to say was that it was cultural differences between the Greek culture and the audience.

I've never found Chelsea Handler funny at all. I wish we had another female late night host who actually was funny. Or better yet a person of color. I'm really excited for Larry Wilmore taking over The Colbert Report's spot.

I liked Community, but I think it's time for extreme fans to give. up. This show is dead and it's been running on fumes since season 3 in my opinion. If it does get renewed by Hulu, it'll probably have an incredibly low budget, and I bet any amount of money that yet another main cast member will leave. Fans: Please

This comment was so helpful!

The whole point of the movie was cultural differences. In many other cultures, parents have absolute authority over family. For example I come from a Caribbean background and that is how many families are. People don't move out until marriage and they are more of a collectivist culture. My grandmother for example

I loved My Big Fat Greek Wedding but I didn't really see any sequel potential. Even if there was any, they should've acted on that potential a while ago…like in 2002 maybe? It's a good movie but come on, it came out over 10 years ago.

This sounds bad. I'm not a comic book fan but even I know this is probably not going to work out. Nobody wants to see a 12 year old Batman. Also what will differentiate this from, say, Law & Order if Batman isn't in it?

I think Friends is different because nobody was claiming it was accurate…Whereas Girls consistently has people writing 27 page articles about how true to life it is.

I guess, but people are acting as if they are horrible writers just hired on the sole basis of being black women. Which I doubt and which we have no way of knowing anyway.

Wow. Based on these comments it seems most AV club members are white male 12 year olds. I'm quite glad they finally hired some black people. No, every time anybody hires anything but a straight white male it is NOT tokenism.

whoops I accidentally commented with my Disqus account…

I hope for the producers' sake that this movie is successful and actually leads to a Justice League movie (and I won't believe that's happening until I see showtimes in a movie theater). Otherwise this is about to end up as one of those movies with a bunch of plot points that will never get resolved.

I don't mind them doing live musicals, as long as they pick somebody who can sing AND act. Even if they're only using former American Idol contestants, there are several who have experience on Broadway (albeit not as recognizable), such as Diana DeGarmo or Tamyra Gray.

This sounds boring. Even Smallville had the good sense to make Clark a teenager that could do things. Also what happens when the actor grows up, as others have mentioned? Also, how many average people actually want to see a show about Commissioner Gordon? Maybe it's just me but I don't see this doing well even if they

I wonder if the site will even do well…I went to school in Georgia and country music fans in my experience don't really share their love for it with other non-country lovers. I've never heard of someone who didn't grow up liking country starting to like country through word of mouth. Also, there's a significant amount

I don't mind Hugh Jackman, or any of the actors in the X-Men movies for that matter. My biggest problems with the movies are not the acting, it's the poorly written plots.

It just bothers me because it's so insincere and ultimately unnecessary. There's actual examples of racism that are affecting the whole country, no need to (for example) pick on a bunch of racist redneck 15 year olds who aren't really affecting anyone but themselves, or to search desperately for racism in a song that

Yeah I'm kind of baffled too. But AV Club tends to pick random people to hate based on the month, so I'm not that baffled.

Hmm, I'll have to see it before I make any judgements. But the only question I always have about her is, how is it that she's only 44 (at least according to imdb and Wikipedia)?!? She looks like she's 65.

Haha. That's one thing that bothers me about The Mindy Project. I mean she can't date one Indian guy? She has absolutely 0 Indian friends? The only other Indian person I remember being on the show is her brother, played by Utkarsh Ambudkar. I understand Aziz Ansari is on NBC, but they can't get like Kal Penn to stop
