But why does introspection have to be mid-tempo ballads? Why does introspection have to be… boring? I and Love and You is perfectly introspective while maintaining the energy and edge. Emotionalism was, too. Being mature doesn't necessarily mean slowing down and flattening everything out so it all sounds the same.

This review read like a Pitchfork review, I'm sorry. Most of it was references to other musical acts, so we know that you're well versed in your musical history and adept at making connections.

Holy shit! I remember renting this movie with my mom when I was 5, when we lived on Kadena Air Force Base in Okinawa, Japan. I have only very vague memories of it, and I've been trying to track down exactly what movie it was for YEARS. I never had anything to search for, though, no strong enough memories that could

I maintain that Nicolas Cage is actually a very good actor (Raising Arizona, Adaptation, Leaving Las Vegas, Kick-Ass), but The Rock, despite being Michael Bay's least-bad movie, ruined him. It convinced him he's an action star, and now we laugh at him. Because he's ridiculous. We miss you, real Nic Cage.

I feel really stupid a lot of the times when I read these articles, because I find myself laughing at the way they're written, and I sometimes even think to myself (or, in moments of extreme stupidity, say out loud) "Man, the way this is written reminds me of an Onion article."

I've never seen Dracula 2000, and I honestly thought this was a joke until I saw @leave_the_silver_city:disqus 's comment and read a plot synopsis of the movie. I can't believe that is a thing that exists.

I realize it's partially a real place, and it's another Matt Groening creation, but I feel like New New York City from Futurama has always had a lot of character.

It's almost as if they took the Robot Chicken shorts and drastically watered them down so as not to be offensive to anyone, and then replaced the charming puppet animation with lifeless CG. Wait, that's exactly what they did.

Genndy Tartakovsky's Clone Wars microseries? Yes. The CG show on Cartoon Network? Not so much.
