I just wrapped up successful inspection negotiations (I blew it last time I bought a house). Here's the strategy that worked out extremely well for me this time:

You are not alone. Plus in the final move, it's from both an apartment AND a storage unit in Queens to New Jersey. Crossing Manhattan in a truck six times, yay!

Congrats, yo! That's awesome.

Yeah, people really hate personality. Like, Garden State and Juno are by no means perfect movies, but they are both really interesting personal statements. Who really gives a shit if Ellen Page says "what the blog?", it's still a pretty good movie.

Yeah, 500 Days of Summer is goofy and pointless but it is very funny, and has some cool direction, and the Hall and Oates thing really is just fucking fantastic.

Wait I'm sorry gotta stop you there SPRING FUCKING BREAKERS?

I can't believe AV Club didn't like this either. I caught the preview screening and thought it was fantastic. And I usually hate Sam Rockwell. Allison Janney kills it in particular.

I thought for a sec that girl in heaven was Katy Perry (only like three connections removed from this group, right?), but it was impossible to tell.

It's weird that I missed this.

You guys are super fun.

That part is a little weird. Also, who goes to a comedy to complain about special effects? ALSO, how far have special effects come that the ones in this movie "suck"? I mean, it's not Thor or whatever but it looks pretty good. And it's a comedy.

Yeah, plus it sort of is that anyway a little.

Redbox is made of Coinstar!
COOIIINNNSTAAARRRR!

butt

"Drags a little"?

I feel like they don't necessarily write the episodes in a single pass without going back to cut stuff.

The movie is quite clear about it being Heidegger and his, ahem, conflicts, but sort of darts around rather than addressing them head-on. It felt like they needed to make a second movie about that issue alone.

Yeah. This is, I think, the point the movie makes best — you see a lot of the more prominent Jewish thinkers in Arendt's circle being outraged at the idea that European Jewish leaders could possibly have cooperated (or even just stood by) during the Holocaust — that the horror of the act means that any decent person

The movie touches on her Young Aliyah time but doesn't really dig into it. (Not a spoiler.)

Actually, just before I watched this ep, I heard someone say "sabo" and had no idea what they meant. Synchronicisabo.
