Watching 56 Up had me thinking about this a lot, because the ONLY thing that seemed to affect how happy anyone was wasn't kids, or work, or money — just their marriages. It was like a dead 50-50 split between cheery people who love their spouses and bitter, cheating, miserable wrecks.
The "stalking pays" twist made me spit out my drink. Pitch this as a movie script.
Let's not forget Lenny Bruce! I like Bill Hicks the most, but classic Bruce is definitely a better alternative to Carlin.
He mentioned TED talks one too many times for me to take him seriously. Plus I've seen his awful standup. Still entertaining on P&R/RAAANDY though.
That might work.
I did some Craigslist dating during a dry spell several years ago (I don't even think I knew OKCupid existed at the time, and maybe it didn't). The mode of it is so weird — nobody posts pictures, so you just try to post eye-catching, clever ad in the world and hope it works out. Being male, you have to try really,…
Broken Social Scene is superior to New Pornographers in all respects, up to and including shared member(s?).
I loved Sudeikis throughout because he kept the Bieber mockery just-mean-spirited-enough. I think a little genuine annoyance showed through.
Gotta, agree, this was a solid fuckin episode, after like eight consecutive shitty ones. Almost every sketch was at least decent, and there were quite a few excellent bits (glice, the weird Grease one, Hader getting nine consecutive closeups in the Californians)
I friggin loved this sketch the first time, because over-the-top mockery of CA is hilarious, and that highway-naming joke is gold. But now I'm sick of it. Twice was too many.
I knew it!
How right you are kinda bummed me out.

This is the only acceptable list of those posted. However Daisies should probably be above Shootenanny, even if I haven't felt like listening to Daisies for about five years.
Well, that's too strong, I don't *hate* Blinking Lights, but it was the first album that did not interest me at all. I have legitimately hated all the follow-ups though, and I think Blinking Lights is just sort of a waste of time, aside from the occasional winner, like the instrumentals and Old Shit New Shit.
I have hated every Eels album since (and including) Blinking Lights but love their old stuff, should I buy this?
I'd say a solid D-. I mean, who wants to compare the relative texture of the crap at the bottom of the barrel? I thought The Final Page was pretty good, and I liked Ring Up, but otherwise it's been almost all stinkers.
This opinion is also wrong
Well, Beekeper was worse.
