Yeah, I thought they were strong, particularly Cohen. The audience at my screening was eating it up, the laughter was borderline deafening. I do understand not wanting to see either of them on screen though.

Surprised. I was not a Les Mis fan going in but I think this movie might have turned me. I figured the B+ for sure, because while there are flaws the whole production is pretty awesome.
