Oh, hi kids.

"Troy And Abed In The Morning" = fan service
"Referencing a joke made 4 years ago at the end of the 22nd episode of the first season" = not fan service

Go ahead! Laugh!

Around season.. Oh I don't know, lets say, Moe.

Oh no! Brando's got us bent over and his reaching for the butter!

I thought it was her inability to do jokes well (like Annie pointed out in "Studies In Modern Movement") that made the scene funny. I didn't see it as an argument in the end as much as her ruining his bit.
But whatever, I enjoyed the episode. I think that if you can get past the part initializing the whole lava game,

But it most certainly does, out of the 20 or so people I know and associate myself with that watch 'Community', I might be the only one that catches all things like the iPod nano and such. Trust me, there are plenty of "average viewers" of 'Community' that don't comb through every little detail like we do. I'm the

"I see what your trying to do here, your trying to show me up"
"What are you talking about bisscchh?"

Maybe, but I thought that was her appeal. Vocally, I didn't really catch anything wrong.

She should get hired by American Airlines the way she's stopping him from going anywhere.

I'd like to think that having Marshall there would also let him know of any other illegal stuff that might've passed him, which Marshall would most assuredly bring to Barney. Although the stuff everyone else is saying makes sense too.

Its funny in theory.. And when you try to explain the appeal of AV Club to friends and such.

I personally really liked the performance. I thought Jhene was unbelievably cute during that performance.

I think the "go around the world on a boat" thing was Dan Harmon subtly referencing Donald Glover's Hip Hop career (the boat was called the "Childish Tycoon".. similar to his rap handle), saying he is letting the actor go and travel the world like we all dream to. I don't know, just a theory.

.. Do you just hate happiness?

Yeah it entirely centred around the death of Pierce.. It was basically Pierce's will reading.. They talked about him quite a bit.. I don't understand..

I think it was because it got back to the basics of the group in the study room. Its a concept episode but not in any complex fashion. The cast works best when they're all just talking and doing simple back and forth's (Advanced Dungeons & Dragons + Cooperative Calligraphy = two of my absolute favourite episodes) but

I'm in Vancouver and I loved it.

Disappointed Lisa didn't make a "I've had JUST ABOUT ENOUGH OF YOUR VASSAR BASHING YOUNG LADY!!" statement, but I guess unlike my own life, everything can't just be a Simpsons reference.

I didn't make that connection.. But I should have..
