Holy shit and A-, count me as shocked. Though I still thoroughly disagree that the season was "underdeveloped, half-baked, and ill-conceived." And that tonight's episode was a "mess".

I'm going to go out on a limb, and guess that the grade old Phil gives for tonight's Supernatural will be a C.

Kudos to Marah for going with At the Gates. Really surprising to see a band like that on an A.V. Club list.
Doesn't look like that will happen, word is the Leviathan's are sticking around for season 8.
After the "French Mistake", they pretty much hit the apex of meta episodes, so I think they are done with them. Especially considering there haven't been any meta episodes in season 7.
I get that. Thing is though, Phil just seems to bitch for the sake of it with this show. I doubt he put any thought into what he wrote.
Edgar Wright is still signed on to direct an Ant-Man film.
Disease can hit at anytime. Young, old it doesn't matter, you cure the population of sickness, then fatten them and make them docile. Not a lot of holes to that plan in my view.
The borax bomb was a pretty great moment though.
Also, they were leaving the building and Bobby is anchored to the flask.
What's there not to get about "curing all major diseases, in order to maintain a healthy food supply"? No one wants to eat sick cows, pigs, chickens, etc…. I don't see why Leviathans wouldn't be the same with their livestock.
Nope it's been confirmed season 7 will have cliffhanger and season 8 will carry on and finish the Leviathan story.
I doubt it, I don't think they even bothered fixing the title from Professor Pennywhistle to Plucky Pennywhistle from earlier in the season.
Speaking of music, I really liked hearing the Social Network-esque bit of synth in the episode.
That's exactly why I liked Frank, he didn't want any part of this, and the only reason he was helping them was because he was getting paid.
I was kinda disappointed that they gave Croatian Man a name this season, but I did like the fact that he made Mark still call him Croatian Man.
Plus, Dean bought him fried pickle chips and a soda, he doesn't just do something like that for anyone.
Bipolar Bear - Bobby proved the burning of a demons will kill it, I think it's pretty easy for an angel and the King of Hell to fake a little bit of fire and immolation.
The Castiel webisode was the best.
