I don't know of anyone who finds that idea hilarious at all. And I know a lot of people. So it's possible that your statement wasn't clear and so therefore I'm misunderstanding you. I'm not sure that there are any adults in the United States that don't know that racism cuts both ways.
The "Pavlovian gun" really bothered me too! I remembered seeing it (and pegged Russ as the one who would use it to do exactly what he did with it), but I didn't remember it slobbering.
I think you really nailed it.
Well, she died in 1937 and the circumstances have been well-known since then, so it's not a spoiler. However, she died in a hospital after having her arm, at the elbow, surgically amputated. She most likely died from shock, as it did take an ambulance quite awhile to reach the scene. This was not surprising - the…

There was a location title at the start of each character's introductory scene. At least there was when I just watched it on Hulu. The mother and child were introduced with a big ole' title that said "Tucson, Arizona." The astrophysicist (?) lady was introduced with "Soccoro, New Mexico" and so on.
Of the many reviews I've read of this episode, this is the only one that gets it completely spot on. As great as this show is and as amazing as Maslany is, neither are infallible. It comes down to producers and writers colluding to produce a superfluous "gee whiz" character in Tony, but also with the director, who…
