How does the ridiculously dumb Tim Hecker album make the overall list when I only noticed it on two of these ballots?

Tim Hecker's Virgins is the stupidest piece of shit I have ever listened to.
If you want to convey that fact you should avoid sentences like this one: "I love Lawrence Gillard Jr. but him as D’Angelo really isn’t doing it for me."
Being intelligent does not prevent one from being a fool or making dumb choices. I was referring to the fact that he was suggested to be some sort of scientist, which would presumably require an advanced degree, and a healthy dose of book smarts.
Wouldn't those questions apply to anyone who may be doing it though?
There was the nerdy scientist guy working for the Governor last season.
You do realize that Lawrence Gillard's character is not named D'Angelo, right? People are calling him that because it was his character's name on The Wire.
Yeah it seems like one could just rewind to one of the hundred parts when they mentioned Curtis Stone by name, and/or take some cursory notes while watching.
Person of Interest is one of the worst shows I have ever seen. I watched the entire first season pretty much because it had Ben Linus in it, but alas, it was completely terrible. I fear for your sanity.
Say what you will about the show but if you're going to review it, at least WATCH the show. The paper you were confused about was OBVIOUSLY the adoption paperwork with the mother's signature (and blood) on it. And the kid was vomiting because he poured a bunch of liquor into his coke. Geez. I'd hate to see your…
That's how it always is. The least funny show that people feel the need to convince themselves is funny, because it came from a popular underground podcast that maybe is or was funny. It's all a bit embarrassing.
The "first one" she referred to was the girl in Tempe, AZ who he locked in his house to detox. When she got out she claimed he kidnapped her and he was arrested, and lost his ministry (so he was already doing the same kind of work). He left AZ and adopted a new identity because he wanted to continue his mission to…
Well, he exhausted all of his appeals, so I think it suggests that over the years he became frustrated with no one believing him. This hardened him into the inmate we saw in the beginning. He perhaps chose hanging as a sort of revenge on society because it wouldn't be easy for them or the guards to carry out, and…
Nice. I like this Armond White gentleman.
I agree. She's just the worst.
Or like, not funny. Girls is great, and I can't imagine anything with the insufferable Greta Gerwig being actually funny or not stab your eyes out annoying.
We have to go back!!!
Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead deserve their spots. I'm with you on the other two, although The Americans is at least decent. House of Cards was only good for the first few episodes then it became incredibly tedious to finish.
Bates Motel was dumb. I watched the entire thing and must conclude that it was garbage. Even if you really liked it, "amazing" is a huge stretch.
It's hilarious. Big Bang Theory looks bad.
