Blanchard doesn't seem nearly as interested in playing the Disney game (turning up at the theme parks, releasing singles for Radio Disney, etc.) as Carpenter is. Carpenter is all in for the mouse.

I think Corden's show has hurt Conan a great deal. Ferguson was neither willing or able to get bigtime guests, which left an opening for Conan in LA: he could book Kimmel's leftovers. But now people want to go on Corden, which leaves Conan as third-string. There was one Conan last summer, maybe early June, where his…
I went to a TBS Conan taping, and he never even really acknowledged the audience until after the show was over. Spent all of his time during breaks huddling with Andy and the writers.
Welcome to the Captain! I may be the only person in America who liked that show. Remember Tambor continually referring to Three's Company as T-Co? Anyone? No?
My kid likes it. She's 6. She watched the first season so many times that I was actually grateful for new episodes. And now she's already watched the second season twice through. It's basically the same quality, acting, and production values as those Disney Channel sitcoms.
John Belushi once told her she partied TOO hard. When you can go harder than Belushi, you truly did live awesome.
I actually like Unmasked, it's one of my favorite Kiss albums. She's So European, Talk to Me, Tomorrow, Two Sides of the Coin… good stuff. There's some gems in Kiss' '80s catalog.
Wasn't the point that they were all emotionally stunted adult-children?
I think that was the point of Dory's character, right? That she didn't herself feel attractive or worthy or important?
I've watched a bit here and there, and it's awfully, awfully bad.
They were doing two recaps a day because TBS aired two episodes a day. But that, I think, wasn't a huge success, and certainly very few people seem to have been able to keep up. I'm just now (a month after the fact) finishing episode 6 (and honestly, weighing whether or not to complete the show… it's not great).
It's the smile. Pretty much that's the whole appeal.
The earlier episodes had little bits of physical comedy to lighten things up inserted somewhat randomly. I wish they'd get back to that.
I think they don't know if they want to focus on Kevin and Chale, or on Kevin and his retired buddies, or on Kevin and his family. And right now none of those are exactly goldmines.
The article doesn't mention why they broke up in the first place. The band was invited to play one of the big festivals in Belgium (yes, Live remain huge in the Benelux countries. No, I don't know why), and Kowalczyk negotiated himself a "lead singer bonus" that would be paid directly to him by the promoters without…
They had a single out called "Overcome" which was suitably somber and I believe some radio stations repurposed it with snippets of 9/11 news coverage.
Caught up on both Kevin Can Wait and Odd Couple this weekend, and watched a couple of episodes of Man With a Plan. None of them are very good; Kevin Can Wait has gotten noticeably worse since the first few episodes, I think. The Odd Couple creative team seems to be completely out of ideas, and I don't understand why…
What exactly makes secrets "more desperate"?
Why did Jay Pharoah slowly disappear from sketches last season? The answer may be linked to the answer to "why did Jay Pharoah get fired from SNL this summer?"
I've liked Mikey Day ever since Kath and Kim.
Have Trump's tweets done anything to SNL's ratings? Is there any evidence that Trump supporters are boycotting the show, or that Trump opponents are tuning in more?
