What's On Tonight: A whole lot of bullshit to distract you from the fact that you are living in a real shithole.

The Newsroom is terrible for a lot of reasons, but it's bizarre the way that opening scene hurt Millenial feelings so badly that no one noticed that most of the characters that heard McAvoy's speech immediately concluded that he had lost his mind.

FX should have run a few inscrutable ads and given the show a meaningless name. No way that strategy could backfire.

Seriously, fire that guy.
