It seems like AV Club has a house-wide preference for storytelling over joketelling in reviewing comedies.  A show with a strong seasonal arc and pretty good jokes is going to get more raves than a show with razor-sharp jokes and above-average character development.

Yeah, all the action in a Cinderella story is between her and the Evil Stepmother.  Everyone else is basically a cameo.

If James can handle being Sybil II on Downton Abbey and doing this movie, I imagine Madden can do the same.

End of episode 4, I'll bet.  The show seems to like having a mid-season cliffhanger around that point - Joffrey dies, Tyrion is arrested, credits.

They really are going to make a great couple right up until one of them dies horribly.
