I also did an adblock-free reload (and clicked on all the links, even).

I really need to read the short stories. I sort of like the Martial Lieutenant; he seems to be pretty reasonable. Then again, Bobbie's waving the Martian Nationalist flag a bit strongly right now, so anyone can change.

I don't know, "Divine Elimination" sounds quite a bit like "Holy Shit." I was certainly saying that a lot.

So Book Readers, do you think Fred's lieutenant is supposed to be the show's version of Sam (the redheaded engineer whom Naomi hung out with when on leave)? Not sure how I feel about that adaptation choice, but I'm willing to give it a chance.

In the books, it's called a "Mariner Valley Drawl."

I'm pretty sure the southwestern accent is local to the Mariner valley (originally settled by Texans, though most current residents are of Indian decent), not Mars as a whole.

I think Thoth's external security was A) it was hidden and nobody should know where it is, and B) stealth ship. It does seem a bit odd that there weren't ANY lethal weapons on the station, but maybe there was too much of a risk of the inmates getting a hold of them.

Woo! Expanse reviews are back!

Haha, Donnie T write his own orders? That's Shadow President Bannon's job.

Espolon is a great tequila for the price.
For bourbon, I like E.H. Taylor when I've got money, and 1792 when I don't.

A comments page would be fine; hopefully enough people would use it to attract a real reviewer.

Are we not getting reviews for The Expanse anymore? Last night's episodes were pretty great.

No, I meant "where was it?" Sorry.

I'm jumping in on this comment train. The Expanse needs reviews.

Given that the EPA is getting gutted, there won't even be anyone to charge you with violating the Clean Water Act.

So… what happened to the Expanse review from last night?

I still need to watch most of season 3, but since it looks like things are solid here, I suppose I will.

I'd just recently re-watched Person of Interest's "6,741," so it didn't take me too long to figure out what was going on. While AoS wasn't quite at that level (what is?), they did a pretty good job with the deception. "Not again" indeed.

I'm fairly certain I saw a few North American species in that pit. Seems unlikely they would have found their way across the pond at that time. Of course, that's still less irritating then "bitten to death by venomous pythons."

The Pumpkin Spice must flow.
