I'm thinking that Teddy used to be the Yul Brynner Gunslinger, before there was an incident 30 years ago and he was put into a more docile role. The current MIB would be the guy he terrorized (which I think is William).

I'm guessing it's going to be related to the issue that happened 30 years ago, which I think is being explored in William's storyline.
Presumably, the hosts can have entire segments of their anatomy replaced if they become infected?
We don't know how old the park is, though. It could be 100 years old.
Maybe there's a kid/family discount?
That's become one of they key components of my hypothetical Westworld drinking game.
Given that he's such a long-term, repeat customer, I wouldn't be surprised if they had some guy in storytelling write a special Lost-style mystery for him just so he kept coming back.
I like that Jimmi Simpson's character in PoI was also named Logan.
I've been hearing some interesting theories that Jimmi Simpson's William is actually a flashback to Ed Harris's Man in Black. Beyond the fact that Nolan has shown a predilection for flashbacks in his previous work, this seems like it may hold water.
I'd love for the "deeper game" he's chasing to be the Westworld equivalent of the "Mew under the truck" or "Resurrect Aeris" urban legends.
I thought the interesting bit about Scarfe is that while he was a corrupt cop, he wasn't presented as a total monster, as is commonly done in other shows.
Circuit City is where I got my copy of Baldur's Gate II and its expansion, back when the games came in cardboard boxes the size of a D&D source book and were packed with maps and thick manuals. Those were the days.
Tits and lots of out-of-focus dicks.
Damn, that was great. I'm going to have to re-watch the episode later this week to analyze it in more detail.
Maybe he was somehow influenced by the update?
Or he's a robot that's gotten so into his role that he's somehow tricked himself (and the sensors)?
For the people wealthy enough to spend serious time in the park, I'd imagine that "fake guns" would detract from the experience.
This fucking show will certainly have fucking.
I would love to see him and Anthony Hopkins get into an evil speech-off.
Given that the entire purpose of the park was to make a totally immersive environment, I think ridiculously human robots is entirely justifiable.
