Posey (the manufacturer of the jackets used, you can tell by the colored bands around the collars) straitjackets normally have arm loops on the sides and one in front that the arms are passed through preventing the arms from being lifted over-head. These didn't seem to have them at all.

Yeah, the "reality" show conceit is super-thin, because this show is as slickly produced as any scripted stuff out there. They've gotten more than a few laughs out of me for the few episodes I've seen, but there's something overtly insincere about the show that's put me off of watching anymore.
