It appears they're going to ditch Storm's End altogether and make the Davos/Melisandre rowboat shadow baby (the second such scene) the first one, with the smuggler's entrance leading to Renly's encampment. Renly's death will lose some punch, imo.

I'm hoping they get Selmy and Strong Belwas on the scene pronto. Dany always seemed conspicuously "weak", personnel-wise until those two show up, and for some reason that feeling is stronger on the show. Why DOESN'T somebody just kill Dany and her crew and take the Dragons? That's what the newbies are saying. The

Too bad there's still other knuckleheaded mofo's coming here every week with their "nudge, nudge, wink, wink" bullshit. The mods needs to police better also, to be fair. I've flagged several comments over the weeks that should've been struck, but they remained. Should be a zero tolerance policy here. It's a mummer's

The red herring is the sigil of House Wadsworth.

They *must* include the Bloody Mummers. They just have to!

It totally had that 'spires that look like giant melted candles' look from the dragonfire. Very well done!

When he was threatening Lancel, he was facing away from the light and his face was  in shadow…my man was looking seriously sinister.

It shouldn't be a surprise at this point…but once again, perfect casting.

My frustration is that they STILL haven't explained his nickname, though it was used several times this episode, and it fills in a huge missing piece of why Stannis trusts him so well. Newbies must still be scratching their heads at the guy, I'd presume.

That's a great choice. I'm really glad Mark Hamill has had a nice second act as an excellent voice actor, because at no time does the Luke Skywalker character work for me. But then I think I'm one of the few people of that generation that never really cared for the Star Wars films.

I loved her scene with Robb in last year's finale, where she matter of factly and proudly states, "First we must get your sisters back…and then we will kill them all." Goosebumps! That's right up there for TV Lady Badassery with Mary McDonnell's "I'm coming for all of you!" from BSG.

Oliver Platt is a giant! That would have been pretty funny (the real Cianci is teeny-tiny).

Thanks for the correction, Don. I should've just googled that shit in the first place.

Raff the Sweetling is a Brave Companion, right? I didn't think any of the Bloody Mummers were in Amory Lorch's crew, just The Tickler (as far as brand-name bad guys go). I might be mistaken.

I'm liking every fucking Space reference in this thread. You're doing Space God's work, sir.

I'm getting sick of these mother fucking sharks, in this mother fucking space ja-*CHOMP*

Unfortunately for Jon, though, Ghost is MIA much of the time north of The Wall foraging for food, right? We have the benefit of knowing that from the books, but I'm surprised more newbie viewers aren't all, "Hey Jon, how about taking your GIANT GODDAMN DIREWOLF with you when you decide to follow a shady character into

Hopefully they'll explain the origin of his Onion Knight nickname soon, because it's pretty much the missing piece of the puzzle that has non-reader viewers scratching their heads at Davos and Stannis' relationship.
