I was surprised that she had no real interest in creating a foundation for HR success.

That crowdsurfing totally read as set up.
I could almost hear the director telling the crowd how to play the scene.
It was a pinprick in the ability for Treme to read as "real".

Ayuh. It's more acting singing than singing singing. Awk-ward.

I thought that Toni reasssuring LP was a little premature. She might have some degree of safety from the police in that she's well established in her community but LP seesm like a bit of fluff on the wind. He could go missing in the blink of an eye and the city wouldn't even shrug. He's in way more danger than Toni

Ah.
Juvenile is such a great word to describe him. He's so stuck in his earlier success, which only happened because he was in the right awful place at the right awful time, that he can't see that his moment has passed. It's so awkward to watch him struggle to succeed. Esp. as the city is healing itself and he still

Lot's of times the music in the show just isn't my thing.
But hell yeah, that was a show I'd pay to see. I wanted a hankie to wave in the air in good old NOLA style! :D

Do you have the time to expand on this?

My favorite parts of last nights show were both gentle and uplifting (Antoine and Jennifer doing call and response in the empty classroom) and quietly doomed ( Terry arriving to tell Toni about the murder of her hairdresser). Being a hopeless romantic I'd like for Terry and Toni to be able to act on his attraction
