I have no idea who Alex Day is…I agree with pretty much everything you said: he makes valid points. Sure his female characters (now that he's pointed it out) are a bit formulaic…but what the heck I still love them! I  basically agree with everything in this comment. After watching the Pond Life, I was wondering what could possibly make Amy and Rory get a divorce?! He waited 2000 years for her!..And then Rory brings it up which made me very happy.
