Maybe that guy was planning on going out with a bang and getting drugged up since he was going to die anyway. And House decided to join him for a heroin session.. since the guy was going to take the blame for House's prank. This is horrible theorizing on my part right now..

There were so many loopholes. And is that what "the plan" was that his hallucinations kept mention were - to fake his death? I definitely didn't pay enough attention in this episode. There was so much sulking and psychoanalysis going on that I tuned them out.

Well, I was half paying attention in the first half of the episode - but I'm pretty sure he and the dead guy were on heroin. I don't remember. Which says something about how the episode was for me, haha
