Agreed, I find the Bjork character unfunny, one-note, and painful to listen to.  Actually find most of Besser's improv characters to be pretty one-note.

Still on the fence about Josh v. Matty- think Adam and Matty had better
chemistry, and Josh's takes are at times out there (e.g. his misguided
Argo stance (wouldn't go so far as to call it a rant), or placing
Monkeybone at #1 on his under-seen classics top 5), but I do like that
Josh and Adam seem to disagree or have

The Hanks episode was I think the only episode I finished this year.  Even episodes with people I generally would be interested in listening to, e.g. Tina Fey, I end up turning off halfway through because I don't like Hardwick.  Also not a fan them trying to push the unfunny Matt Mira towards a comedy career.  Sounds

I'll fifth what you guys just said.  Listened to Nerdist in the early days, but Hardwick over time just really started to grate.  It made me quite angry when he polluted the Tompkast for an episode, and the ads alone for Talking Dead make me want to throw a shoe at the TV screen.

I can not respect any man that would put HDTGM on their 'top 5 podcasts of the year' list.  So David Anthony and Dan Telfer, you're going to have to find a way to live without my respect.

Only half paying attention, thought you guys were still commenting about the Mulaney album; past few comments make a little more sense as applied to the Tig album, I imagine.

"The second is episode 130 of Walking The Room at the 32:35 mark, when an off-handed conversation that leads to a passing reference to the sitcom According To Jim becomes a sobering yet still side-splitting reminder that oblivion lurks everywhere."
Glad I wasn't the only person that found this very specific reference

I also found Undiscovered Project to be the weakest part of the show.  I've always really liked the Kirkman segments (yet find her to be kind of irritating on panels, e.g. on DLM) (however, in rebuttal to yet, I've also really enjoyed her on Never Not Funny and some other places), prefer her to a guest like Hardwick,

My spot-on impression of 'Juice' for the past 3 seasons of SOA: "I'm awfully constipated, constantly, and very nervous about the events going on around me, perpetually; none of you guys can tall that I'm double-timing you behind you's backs?"
