Wayne Brady
I have nothing but goodwill for Wayne Brady based on his hilarious single-episode turns on Chappelle's Show and 30 Rock. I think he hosts a game show and am pretty sure he's most famous for family-friendly improv, none of which I've ever seen more than a few seconds of… so as far as I'm concerned, Wayne

Also- any chance at all that downloads of the theme song on ITunes help in any way to the the show renewed?

A lot of fucking titles make sense once you've seen the show/read the book/seen the movie… doesn't make it a good title. I personally have no problem with the title now that I've caught up on the show, but the title sure as hell doesn't help to bring in new or on-the-fence viewers.

Make that "approaches" the end of its "run".

Crawling to the Finish Line…
Sad to see the the 30 For 30 series, which included some outstanding docs during the first half of the series' run (Ali-Holmes; Iverson; OJ/June 17; Ricky Williams; Reggie Miller; the Two Escobars), severely petering out as it approached the conclusion of its tun. Guess that's bound to

I feel like the dumbest piece of shit in the history of man, but have seen the entire series at least 4x, and seen many episodes 10-15+ times, yet I never noticed the 'covering their mouths when saying "fuck"' thing. On the other hand, guess it's another sign about how richly-layered the show is/still picking up on

I would like to second "Her?" as being the greatest recurring gag in the history of anything. Seems like every character had at least one "her?" moment during the run of the show; never not funny. Need to go see if there's a youtube clip.

In your country, you call it a sausage in the mouth.

Another vote for Amigos.

@dyd and Prinskipple Skimmer-
Agree that AMC deserves credit for bringing some great shit to tv; on the other hand, the show (and Mad Men) are the 2 shows from the past few years (along w/ Lost) that benefit the most from HD broadcasts. Don't think Breaking Bad could benefit too much from a move to a premium outlet

Cactus Jack? More like Cactus Jackass, am I right?
Hell of a ride, but Darlton couldn't stick the landing. Too tired to offer anything of substance to the discussion, but going to sleep unfulfilled (not personally or spiritually, Jack, just unfulfilled by the series finale).

That works out perfectly, because I'm pretty sure Landry will be a senior next year, so the series can end with his high school graduation.

O Captain My Captain!…

So what I'm saying is, yeah, the show isn't as good as it used to be, started the season pretty mediocre, but has rebounded more than Rabin has acknowledged, and probably could use a fresh set of eyes (but not VanDerWerff).

Basically, it's damn near impossible for any show, in particular a comedy, to maintain the overall level of greatness that 30 Rock achieved in the second half of season 1 through season 2, when it was hitting on all cylinders for both laughs and plot/character development. Arrested Development for the most part

Rome was so much fucking better than Firefly, and at least a dozen other shows on this list.
Also, Arrested Development and the Sopranos should be swapped, as should LOST and Freaks & Geeks.

It has long been the unwritten rule that past performance does in fact play into who's going home, even if the 'official' rule says the decision is based solely on that day's performance. It would have been a travesty to kick out Jennifer before Laurine, Robin, etc.

I know them as older brother and younger tattooed brother; one of them is named Mike. There's something I don't like about the older one, but I can't put my finger on it.

Because it showed him doing most of the cooking.

That's how I'm scoring it. While I find her just as annoying as her fellow contestants seem to, I'm kind of enjoying see bottom-3 Robin surviving week-to-week while middle tier folks who are obviously better chefs get knocked off. Hoping Eli goes before her, as his ego definitely seems a lot bigger than merited.
