They make me take CPR every year and I noticed that right away. And what they told me is that breaths aren't fine, and that doing it that way decreases the success rate. Plus, since he saw her get water-sworded, its safe to assume she's not okay.

A good point and a good stealth firstie. You win +1 internets.

All right, here's a crazy, crazy idea I had while reading some of y'alls comments.

I think a human/spirit synthesis is possible. The blood bending clearly affected him, so he's not pure spirit. So he's not a cyborg, he's a spiborg…er, cybirit…whatever you would call someone who's half spirit instead of half machine

Pvt. Wang Fire, except that he has explicitly stated that Korra "isn't ready" back when they first met and he could have finished her then. It's clear he WANTS her to level-up and gain the full Avatar suite of powers. My current favorite theory is so that he can either kill her then (and break the cycle of

I kind of had the same thought about the Face Stealer this episode. At least, that's the only Spiritual entity I can think of that would have something against the Avatar. When Amon fought off the blood bending thing, I definitely had a thought along the lines of "I wonder if he's even a real human?"

So it looks like I was wrong about who Amon is. They satisfied my one requirement to be sure it wasn't him short of unmasking by having them both in a scene. Since there are now no major characters who haven't been in the same place as Amon, it can only mean his 'secret identity' is not central to the story (unless

Keep out trolls?

*note: but probably not the only reason. The while thing is a little anti-establishment for Chinese broadcast, me thinks.

You actually see some of this in TNG and DS9, when major cast members seem strangely absent from one episode and then are the focus of the next. This show did it a lot more, but TNG is where I first spotted the phenomenon. It's a sign of shooting two episodes at once. Another good sign is when some sets seem to get

I was figuring on him being a gimmick name for a poster who's done a lot of research. But when I knew all the insider tidbits he dropped already - it's all stuff you can get from interviews and commentaries, because that's how I know those same factoids (i.e. the Delenn make-up-and-voice thing). Me and my other half

It so felt like the whole show was laughing at me when they pushed the button and got the TNG version of 'wah-wah-wah-wah….'
