A fellow I work with who has quite discerning taste in movies really enjoyed it.

Hardee's had a transparent green sundae topping that I definitely ate more than once that summer.
Are the bears a real threat or just scary out in the woods? When I lived near bears, they would just come drag some garbage cans around and then go back home. Like big raccoons. Boy, I'm getting real cocky for someone who has not spent 56 days alone in a hut made of sticks.
We checked it out. I have a feeling that the people in it for a spiritual awakening are going to have a harder time than the people who just want to see if they can do it. I didn't watch the first season, tho. I liked the lengthy scene with the fish & wildlife department, too. All on the up and up.
I just read Enrigue's Sudden Death and I wished DFW were alive to review it.
In defense of the historian, my grandmother never showed her teeth when smiling and barely offered more than a thin-lipped grimace in photos. She was a happy person; she didn't like to show her dentures. I don't think my grandpa smiles like that either.
And now they are interviewing Alex Trebek (in my time zone)! So wonderfully grumpy.
Gideon Smith and the Mask of the Ripper, another fun installment in the series. On a completely different tack, just started Mantel's Place of Greater Safety and really liking it so far. I went book shopping primarily by size because I wanted a dense mass market paperback for the plane.
Flying to Austin TX tomorrow…
I hope you'll find some comfort in memories of your friend and your cat bakes you a cake.
I know it's not always perfect but your life seems really magical.
I liked that. I've been grooving to Tame Impala's remix of same whenever it comes on the radio and this one is so different. Still haven't heard the original.
It was the mystery on a recent episode of Elementary, too.
Ruffalo's acting made me think another "big reveal" was going to come along and I found it distracting. (Just saw it yesterday.) I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt that the guy he portrays also looks like that because they all supposedly did a lot of research.
I was a big Clara Barton fan as a kid. Why does Florence Nightingale get all the attention?
Re: cataloging. Have you looked at LibraryThing? It supposedly handles DVDs and CDs as easily as books. It's entirely web-based, although you can export a csv. Libib has also been recommended by librarians. If you want it stored on your machine, Book Crawler gets good reviews. (p.s. Glad you found something cheerful.)
Right? I don't think I've ever seen one on tv before. I saw the e-meter handles turning into rainbows out of the corner of my eye and my jaw dropped. Then the techno-spiritual sell, like it's a career college and a church and a Fry's all in one.
I know what you mean and it took me years just to get rid of the stupid blurry ones. Old boyfriends and such are in envelopes where I don't have to look at them but someday… I have some "heirlooms" from my grandma that I've held on to for years. I'm only now realizing that probably my dad gave them to me because he…
I'm glad it's working for you. I've been trying the same thing and it's helping a little to counteract the guilt of letting things pile up and then saying, well if I've kept it this long…
Sheep in a Jeep is a great kids book.
I just finished Knausgaard 4 this week. The ending! Have fun studying!
