You're more optimistic than I am about Best Pic. Screenwriters will appreciate his work for sure. I think the Academy at large will be confused by the dissonance of "zany caper" and "world going to hell" and put it aside for more digestible fare. Maybe I'm out of the zeitgeist. It's on my best pic list anyway.
