Sonia, not that you were a slack before, your WOT columns have been hilarious since TCA. Is that like a spa weekend for you guys?

Ok but there are THREE designers who make jumpsuits and plan to wear them during the judging. It could be total jumpsuit war! (We are watching because the kiddo likes it and it's something fun for us to talk about.)
Totally OT: Has anyone seen Klingande live? The YouTube videos look kind of boring and I can't tell if it's the crowd, the crap footage, or the duo. Should I just download the hit singles (which I adore) or are they worth checking out in a small venue?
Although AV Club has undergone many changes, these types of "categories" have been around since the beginning. It's their style and I think they do it well. I'm glad they cover many genres that one wouldn't necessarily want to directly compare and rank.
Every time I looked at that photo when I was a kid, I thought he was also an arctic explorer. Now he reminds me of that frozen guy they found in the Alps.
Here marks my first sighting of a Disqus sponsored comment. Easy to ignore at least in that big grey box. What's the most amazing thing you've ever seen someone do for a BMW and $77 an hour?
Oh you got me. The Adolescent is on my shelves in Russian and I haven't tackled it yet.
For what it's worth, I love Dostoevsky and put him above Tolstoy (in my own preference). Crime and Punishment is my least favorite of his. Meanwhile, The Idiot is in my top five books of all time and that's the Garnett translation. I have the Pevear and Volokhonsky on my shelves and haven't got to it yet. I think they…
I am just glad to finally find out that you guys are talking about a British thriller and not the Fox reality show,
Totally eclectic! Is the book about WWII Norway? Any good?
I think part of the problem is that on Netflix I want to see the foreign films and I can't read the subtitles while I "multitask" five other things. I've been working on doing fewer things more intentionally and it doesn't seem like platitudinous b.s. anymore.
Parentheses are awesome and give your sentences extra smiles!
I just saw a video of one of the Project Runway season 13 contestants (starts Thursday!) and he is wearing a shirt that says ATHEIST on it. So chalk up another one.
Man, I used to stay up late just to hear that theme song and then go to bed.
Oh yeah, that was very nice. The singer reminds me of Built to Spill and I love that fuzzed out bass sound at the end. And, they played here at a place I had forgotten existed so you've given me another place to look for shows. Thanks.
I checked out Weatherbox on Bandcamp on your suggestion and am really enjoying it. Now I am jealous of your seeing them live. Bet it was a fun show.
I have a bottle of barbecue sauce in the fridge! You've planned my dinner!
I like your idea about Tintin. He would have captured the feeling of sharply drawn detailed comics rather than the hideous CGI that was made.
I'm glad to hear the Willis books are good. NPR was talking about them yesterday and they sounded interesting. I do love me some time travel. (And need something to read on the way.)
p.s. How do they define "riff?" Is there a maximum length? How it fits in the song's structure? I realize I kinda know one when I hear one but there are other guitar parts of songs that I like but maybe wouldn't be considered a riff (like in How Soon is Now).
