No movie will ever be as good as that fucking election was.  That was 8 months of escalating insanity that ended up with the right person winning.  Watching that campaign season unfold and get progressively more dramatic and funny was the best TV around.

I doubt it was the blood or subtitles but just how deliberately paced that movie was.  It's a great movie, but it's so slow paced that I couldn't imagine it doing much of anything besides sucking the energy completely out of a date.
