On the one hand, this gimmick comes pretty close to stepping on Reposted Youtube Comments' toes, but on the other hand, A7x fans are hilariously terrible, so I'm pro this.

I can't wait until this making of remake gets a gritty reboot.

JJ has the awful quality of being almost perfect, which is altogether a million times more loathsome than being conniving or petty.  I realize saying that makes me come off as pretty conniving and petty, which I don't really have an answer for except "hey, at least I'm not perfect."

Wow, seeing someone put The Simpsons in reference to Family Guy rather than Family Guy in reference to The Simpsons just made me feel pretty goddamn old.

"Must love snark, must hate love"

My favorite Gob line might be "My Christian girlfriend in trying to get me to be a better person, and I'm trying to get her to renounce God and fuck me."

There's a pretty loathsome Atherton in Firefly as well.  What is it about that name?

Yeah, good call.  I've never felt anything even remotely resembling hatred for Buster.

I don't really understand the Jerry hatred (which is maybe the point).  I've always seen Jerry as a pretty solid, emotionally uncomplex guy whose life is pretty much together and whose self esteem is pretty intact.  His worst quality is being bland and oblivious, but that's hardly offensive- it's like getting angry at

Ugh, Riley just could not leave that show fast enough.  The older I get, the more it makes sense to me why Buffy would want to be with a guy like Riley, whose food equivalent is a slice of American apple pie, rather than another dangerous guy like Angel, whose food equivalent is probably a box of chocolate truffles

I consider the exclusion of the entire Bluth family a grave oversight.

I'm less upset about the firstie attempt than I am you picked Eve over Satan.

OF COURSE!

@avclub-587b11d4d193d217aa603d0b4d34d95f:disqus This is the only possible reaction to that show.  Granted, I haven't seen it since the original episodes aired, but I can't imagine I'd think differently about it if I rewatched it now.

Are we going to go with Nigan, Megck, or Mulloffermanally  for their cute celebrity acronym, though?

In the universe of The Wire, absolutely he should, but I'm basing my guess about his brand preference on this almost forgotten gem from the 2008 campaign season: http://s3.mediamatters.org/…

This is why I shouldn't have skipped drafting.

Yeah, the point that varied economic systems are more like points on a spectrum than discreet entities is well made.  On the other hand, there are certain essential characteristics of capitalism (as there are with any mode of production) that I think demarcate it as a particular mode of exchange- like the generation
